Charumitra Pujari

Charumitra Pujari has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Charumitra started their career at Accenture as a Software Engineer, where they worked with Bank of America on application management and process flow analysis. Charumitra then moved on to McMaster University as a Research Assistant, where they developed modeling and optimization software for supply chain optimization in the oil and gas industry.

Charumitra then joined Canadian Tire as a Predictive Analytics Solution Architect, working on developing predictive models and designing Big Data solutions. Charumitra later worked at Points as a Principal Data Scientist, leading analytics groups, developing strategies for building intelligence, and managing relationships with stakeholders.

Charumitra then joined Amazon, where they focused on building data products at a large scale. After that, Charumitra joined Paytm Labs as a Vice President of Engineering and Data Science, leading AI and data initiatives and being responsible for various areas including credit products, customer and merchant onboarding, growth engineering, and data platforms.

Currently, they hold the position of Vice President of Engineering and Data Science at Loblaw Digital. With their extensive experience in data science and engineering, Charumitra brings valuable expertise to diverse industries and projects.

Charumitra Pujari holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Manufacturing Engineering from B. M. S. College of Engineering, which they obtained from 2002 to 2006. Charumitra also pursued a Master of Engineering degree in Design with a specialization in Process Control at McMaster University from 2008 to 2009.
