AFM, Local 802
Chris Reza is an accomplished reed player and educator with extensive experience in musical theater and jazz. Currently serving as a Reed Player for "A Strange Loop" on Broadway since March 2022, Chris also holds the position of Manager of Operations and Theatre Payroll Auditor with AFM, Local 802 since May 2019. Chris's performance skills encompass a variety of woodwind instruments, including piccolo, flute, clarinet, oboe, and saxophones, and span numerous musical genres, such as jazz, classical, and musical theater. Notable musicals performed in include "Fun Home," "The Addams Family," "Chicago," and "The Book of Mormon." Chris has a strong educational foundation with a Master of Music in Jazz Composition from Manhattan School of Music, as well as dual Bachelor's degrees in Jazz Studies and Multiple Woodwinds Performance from the University of North Texas. Additionally, Chris served as the Executive Board Vice President for North Texas Music Alumni and worked as a music theory grader at the University of North Texas.
