Natalie V Spehar

Natalie V Spehar is a highly accomplished cellist with extensive experience in both live performances and studio work. As a cellist and electric cellist for AFM Local 47 and AFM Local 802 since 2023, Natalie currently serves as a long-term cello substitute for the Hadestown National Broadway Tour. With a career spanning from 1997 to the present, significant highlights include participation in numerous national and international tours for renowned artists such as Josh Groban, Michael Bublé, and the Trans-Siberian Orchestra. As the owner of Upstate Strings and Fourth Rail Publishing, Natalie offers versatile performances for events and instructional services, including leading online cello workshops. Additionally, professional credits as a session musician include work with high-profile acts and contributions to major projects such as Spiderman - Into the Universe. Natalie holds degrees in Cello Performance from the Eastman School of Music and the University of Maryland, alongside distinguished roles including founder and director of the Annapolis Young Artists Program and a previous teaching position at The Hochstein School.
