Lawrence Jenkins, CPA, CMA, MBA has a diverse work experience in finance and accounting. Lawrence started their career at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where they worked as an Accounting Clerk and later as an Accounting Technician. In 2011, they joined the Local Government Federal Credit Union as an Accountant, and then progressed to become a Financial Reporting Analyst and a Budget Reporting Manager. Most recently, Lawrence served as the Vice President of Budget & Financial Reporting, where they led and managed teams responsible for budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and the implementation of a cloud-based Financial Planning & Reporting System.
Lawrence Jenkins, CPA, CMA, MBA, completed their education at North Carolina Central University. Lawrence earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Finance, graduating in 2003. Later, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Business from the same university, completing their degree in 2014. In addition to their academic achievements, Lawrence also obtained certifications as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) from the NC State Board of CPA Examiners in 2021, and as a CMA from the IMA | Institute of Management Accountants in 2018.
