Bill Taft is the Senior Vice President of Economic Development at Local Initiatives Support. Bill has over twenty years of experience in community development and revitalization.

Bill began their career as the Executive Director of Main Street Richmond-Wayne County, where they led downtown revitalization programs. In September 1991, they became the President of SOUTHEAST NEIGHBORHOOD DEVELOPMENT and led early comprehensive revitalization efforts in Fountain Square Neighborhood. Bill held this position for fourteen years before joining Local Initiatives Support.

At Local Initiatives Support, Bill oversees economic development programs that support low-income communities. Bill is dedicated to their work and is passionate about making a difference in the lives of others.

They are on a team with Christina Travers - EVP & CFO, Connie Max - EVP, Lending, and Seung Kim - SVP, National Programs. Their manager is Lisa L. Glover, CEO.
