Director of Strategy - The Branded Content Project at Local Media Consortium

Liz Hayes has a diverse work experience, starting with their current role as the Director of Strategy for The Branded Content Project at the Local Media Consortium since October 2020. Prior to this, they worked as an Independent Contractor for the same organization from July 2020 to October 2020.

Before joining the Local Media Consortium, Liz served as a Fund Development Specialist at Aspirus Langlade Hospital from September 2018 to July 2020. In this position, they managed the day-to-day operations of the Community Health Foundation and handled various fund-raising activities.

From April 2014 to July 2018, Liz worked as the MomsEveryday Executive Producer at Gray Television. During their tenure, they produced a weekly lifestyle show called MomsEveryday, which aired in 55 markets across the country. Liz played an integral role in conceptualizing the show's format, coordinating segments, and reporting on parenting-related topics.

Prior to their role at Gray Television, Liz worked at WSAW-TV from April 2008 to April 2014, where they served as a News Anchor, Reporter, and Producer. Liz covered a wide range of topics for multiple newscasts and online platforms, demonstrating excellent news judgment and often covering hard-hitting and breaking news stories.

Liz's earlier experience includes working as a News Director at WACD-WATK Radio from August 2006 to April 2008. In this role, they produced and anchored daily newscasts, wrote commercials for local businesses, and built successful advertising campaigns to generate revenue.

Overall, Liz Hayes has accumulated diverse experience in strategy, fund development, television production, news reporting, and radio broadcasting throughout their career.

Liz Hayes completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Broadcast Journalism at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire from 2001 to 2005. In addition to their degree, they have obtained two additional certifications. In July 2019, they completed the "Fundamentals of Resource Development" course at the Wisconsin School of Business's Madison Institute. In December 2020, they obtained a certificate in the "Branded Badge Certificate Program" from The Branded Content Project.
