Madeleine Jennings

Madeleine Jennings is an experienced professional in public affairs, policy development, and communications. Currently serving as the Head of External Affairs at Local Trust since June 2023, Madeleine leads policy initiatives and oversees stakeholder engagement within the legislative sector and civil society. Prior experience includes serving as the Policy and External Affairs Manager at the Joint Council for Qualifications CIC, where responsibilities included coordinating policy development and strategic advice for leadership. Additionally, Madeleine held roles such as Public & Political Affairs Officer at the British Association of Social Workers, Senior Parliamentary Researcher for a Member of Parliament, and Parliamentary Researcher for a Senior Member of Parliament. Early career experience includes working as a New Business Executive at Business Monitor International and as a Sales & Marketing Assistant at Indigo Film & Television. Madeleine holds a Master of Science in Public Policy from Birkbeck, University of London, and a BA in Theology & Religious Studies from the University of Bristol.
