Ashley Sands

Ashley Sands is an experienced freelance writer currently working for Locale Lifestyle Magazine since September 2019. Previously, Ashley served as a Summer Associate at Outside the Lens, developing digital media projects and teaching photo and film fundamentals to promote media literacy among youth. In academic settings, Ashley excelled as Editor In Chief at Concordia University Irvine, coordinating content and conducting research, while also working as a Content Editor to enhance website functionality. Additional experience includes a Marketing & Acquisitions internship at 31 Bits and a Social Media internship with Habitat for Humanity of Orange County, where Ashley focused on community engagement and public relations. Ashley holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communication/Media Studies from Concordia University Irvine, obtained in 2019.
