Dr. Khalid M. is a Senior Research Scientist with extensive experience in both academia and the aerospace industry. Currently, they serve as a Senior Research and Development Scientist at Lockheed Martin and as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the College of Engineering. Dr. Khalid earned a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, as well as an MBA from the University of Michigan and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University. They have previously held positions as an Aircraft Structure Mechanic at HAECO Americas and as a Test Engineer at Pratt & Whitney.
