Mark Jenkins has a diverse work experience in the broadcasting industry. Mark started their career as a Systems/Sales Engineer at ECXSystems from March 2010 to August 2011. Mark then joined KETKNBC/FOX51 in 2010 as a Broadcast Engineer/IT, where they were responsible for network and systems administration as well as maintenance and installation of various electronic systems. Mark was promoted to Assistant Chief Engineer in May 2013 and eventually became the Chief Engineer in December 2017. In this role, they oversaw the entire facility's engineering needs, including maintenance of transmitters and master control hub. Mark also worked briefly at Nexstar Media Group, Inc. as a Broadcast Hub Engineer from December 2020 to October 2022. Most recently, they joined Lockwood Broadcast Group and KAKE as Chief Engineer in October 2022.

Mark Jenkins has a diverse education history. Mark obtained an Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree in Music from Tyler Junior College from 1987 to 1992. Later, they attended Belmont University from 1991 to 1992 to pursue Commercial Music. In 2009, Mark enrolled at the University of Phoenix and completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Information Technology in 2011. Additionally, Mark has obtained several certifications, including Dante Certification Level 1, Dante Certification Level 2, and Dante Certification Level 3 - Advanced Dante Networking, all from Audinate, in April 2020.
