Nguyen Kien

Nguyen Kien has a strong work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Nguyen began their career in 2009 as a Developer at SEE. From 2010 to 2012, they worked at Applistar as a Technical Leader, leading outsourcing software projects and improving the recruitment process. In 2012, they joined skunkworks.vn as a Server Developer before moving to StoryTree in 2013, where they served as a Backend Engineer and played a key role in building an application on AWS that contributed to the company's growth from 0 to $1M in revenue within a year.

In 2015, Nguyen became a Lead Software Engineer at Trust Circle Global. Nguyen led the backend team in building an application on Google Cloud to support the financial needs of ordinary people. Due to a financial crisis, they also acted as a CTO for the company.

From 2018 to 2019, Nguyen worked at Trusting Social as a Technical Lead, where they built and led a team to develop AIDO, an open contact book application that gained 600,000 installations within 50 days.

In 2019, they joined Ticketbox Vietnam as the Head of Engineering before transitioning to TIKI Corporation in 2020. At TIKI Corporation, Nguyen served as the Director of Engineering until January 2023.

Currently, Nguyen holds the position of Head of Engineering at Locofy.ai, starting in March 2023.

Nguyen Kien's education history begins in 2003 when they attended High School for Gifted Students at Hanoi University of Education. They graduated from this institution in 2006 with a degree in Mathematics. Following that, from 2006 to 2010, Nguyen Kien pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science at the University of Engineering and Technology, Hanoi National University.
