David Linsley - Hood

David Linsley-Hood is a Technical Director at Locogen, responsible for leading renewable energy projects and growing the Consultancy team to provide innovative solutions. As Consultancy Director, David directs a team of multi-disciplinary consultants in delivering utility-scale renewable energy projects across the UK. David also serves on the Board of Directors for The Small Wind Co-op, focusing on community-owned wind projects. Previous roles include Board Member for the Society for the Environment, Technical Manager at Taylor and Fraser Ltd., and Technical Director for Edinburgh Community Solar Co-operative. David’s extensive experience encompasses technical oversight of renewable energy systems, instructional roles in academia, and participation in various consultancy projects. Education includes a Master's degree in professional practice from the University of Wales, Cardiff, alongside advanced studies in Architecture and a Bachelor's degree in Geotechnical Engineering from Oxford Brookes University.
