Sumeeta Ahluwalia

Sumeeta Ahluwalia has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Sumeeta is currently serving as the Chief Operating Officer at Loctax, a collaborative governance, risk, and compliance platform for global tax teams. Prior to this, they held the position of Chief of Staff & VP Operations at Loctax, where they helped multinational companies digitalize their tax function and improve communication about their total tax contribution. Sumeeta is also a co-creator of Sonder, a daily mindfulness space focused on mental health. Sumeeta has been a Hot Yoga Teacher at various wellness centers and has worked as a Community Lead at Sanctus, creating a safe mental health journaling community. Additionally, Sumeeta has experience as the Head of Tax & Financial Strategy at Heroes, a technology-driven e-commerce company, and as a Global Tax Director at Hakkasan Group, a worldwide hospitality company. Before that, they worked as a Global Senior Tax Manager at Secret Escapes and held positions at Deloitte and BDO UK LLP, where they gained expertise in tax and financial management.

Sumeeta Ahluwalia completed their education at the University of Warwick - Warwick Business School from 2005 to 2008, where they obtained a Bsc in Engineering and Business Studies. Prior to that, they attended Headington School, Oxford from 1994 to 2005. Sumeeta has also obtained additional certifications, including Mental Health First Aider from Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) England in December 2021, Hot Yoga Teacher (Bikram Method) from Yoga Alliance in July 2019, and Chartered Tax Advisor from CIOT London Branch in July 2013.
