Josh S.

Josh S. has over 13 years of professional work experience. Josh began their career in 2005 at Coalmarch Productions as the Director of Information Technology, where they were responsible for server architecture redesign and developing parts of the proprietary content management system, CoalEngine™. In 2008, they joined Intervolve as a Software Developer and Systems Administrator. During their time there, they planned and implemented a continuous integration system into the product development workflow and was part of a ground up redesign of the proprietary PHP codebase. In 2014, Josh S. joined SAS as a Senior Software Developer, where they were a member of the team responsible for SAS’ public cloud usage in AWS, Azure, and GCP. Josh's primary responsibilities included automation of on-boarding internal users, creation of event-driven security mechanisms, and cost reduction through automated analysis of deployments and procurement of reserved instances. In 2021, they began working at LocumsMart as a Principal Cloud Engineer.

Josh S. attended North Carolina State University from 2001 to 2005, where they studied Computer Science. In March 2015, they obtained a Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) certification from Red Hat.
