Karthik Karathur

Karthik Karathur is currently the AVP at Locus Agricultural Solutions. Karthik previously was with Locus Bio-Energy Solutions, LLC from October 2016 to May 2019. Karthik was the Entrepreneur In Residence and President during their time there. Karthik was responsible for building Locus BE's chemical replacement oil services business with two award-winning green and zero carbon product lines across the most important oil producing geographies in America (Permian, Marcellus, Bakken). Some notable accomplishments during their time there include being the first green technology company to qualify for a 50% tax break for users of their technology by the state of Texas and receiving numerous national and global awards that outcompeted even the likes of Halliburton, Shell, and Saudi Aramco.

After leaving Locus Bio-Energy Solutions, they are now helping the business attain zero carbon certification for its products.

Karthik Karathur has a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Production Engineering from the University of Madras.

Karthik Karathur reports to Chad Pawlak, CEO. They are on a team with Jose Muro - Sales Agronomist, Specialty Crops, Craig Nuthak - Area Sales Manager, Specialty Crops, and Nelson D. Graham - Area Sales Manager, Row Crops.
