Heather McDonald

Heather McDonald, ICD.D, serves as the CEO of LOFT Community Services since October 2006, where responsibilities include overseeing multiple programs dedicated to individuals facing serious mental health, physical health, and substance use challenges. McDonald led the organization to its first accreditation and facilitated strategic planning and integration efforts in 2016 as the Senior Director of Adult and Youth Services. Prior experience includes directing opiate addiction services at Breakaway Addiction Services and roles such as social worker and director of outreach services. McDonald holds a Master of Social Work from Wilfrid Laurier University, a Bachelor of Arts Honours from Queen's University, and a governance certification from the University of Toronto - Rotman School of Management.
