Timothy Johnson

Timothy Johnson has extensive experience in engineering and management, currently serving as Process Engineering Leader at Logan Aluminum since June 2013, with prior roles including Staff Process Engineer, Process Engineer III, and Product Metallurgist II. As the President of Zone Four Engineering, LLC since October 2011, Timothy has demonstrated leadership in the engineering sector. An educational background from the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology includes a Master of Science in Engineering/Industrial Management (2019-2020) and a Bachelor's degree in Metallurgical Engineering (2007-2013). Prior to their engineering career, Timothy served as a Sonar Technician in the US Navy from September 2001 to June 2007 and worked as a Machinist at K & P Rifle Barrels from January 1998 to September 2001. Additionally, Timothy gained research experience as an Undergraduate Research Assistant focused on Friction Stir Welding/Processing at the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology from 2009 to 2013.
