Alan Evans

Alan Evans has a diverse range of work experience in finance and leadership roles. Alan started their career as a Financial Controller at Thermal Transfer, where they implemented new accounting systems and contributed to the company's growth. Alan then joined SSE plc, initially as a Business Review Audit & Special Projects Manager, and later as the Energy Services Financial Controller and National Development Finance Manager. During their time at SSE, they played a key role in financial control, project management, and the launch of new businesses. Alan also worked as the Director of Group Services at SSE CONTRACTING LIMITED and as the Finance Director & Company Secretary at Thermal Transfer. In 2010, they became the Financial Controller at Anesco Ltd, where they provided financial support, implemented accounting software, and established financial models. Alan also worked as the Director of Finance at Indigo Pipelines Limited, the Non-Executive Finance Director at RD Groupco, and the Finance Director at Logan Energy Limited. Alan is currently working as the Financial Director at Catalyst Event Production Services and as a Director at B9 AGE CONSULTANCY LIMITED, offering financial services and coordinating the development of business plans. Alan Evans obtained 2 A Levels and 11 O Levels from Cox Green School in Maidenhead, where they studied from 1976 to 1983. Alan then pursued a Diploma in Professional Accountancy at the University of East London from 1987 to 1989. In 1991, they became a Fellow Member of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants (ACCA).
