The Role We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Senior Manager for Government Affairs to lead our advocacy and policy initiatives across the United Kingdom and with key multilateral institutions. This role is pivotal in shaping the policy environment and advancing the interests of Logically through strategic engagement with senior civil servants, Ministers, MPs, Peers, policy makers, and institutional stakeholders. Logically is also developing its work with multilateral institutions, including NATO and the UN, and the candidate will have a focus on those relationships as well. 

The role will require Development and execution of  strategic government relations strategies to promote and protect the company’s interests across the UK and within multilateral organisations. Monitoring, analysis, and reporting on policy developments, legislative changes, and government initiatives that could impact the company. Building and maintaining strong relationships with civil servants, regulatory agencies, and key stakeholders within multilateral institutions. Designing and implementing integrated public affairs campaigns aimed at improving the wider operating environment of the company Representing the company at various government and multilateral meetings, conferences, and industry associations. Collaborating with internal stakeholders, including regional business units and communications teams, to ensure alignment on public policy objectives and Go to Market Approaches/strategies. Advocating for favourable policy positions and influencing policy formulation at the national and international levels. Preparing briefings, presentations, and position papers for internal and external audiences. Managing specific projects and initiatives as related to government affairs and public policy advocacy.

Skills Required Essential Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a government affairs, public affairs or public policy role, specifically dealing with UK governmental structures and/or global multilateral institutions. Proven track record of successfully managing and navigating complex political environments and policy issues, including parliamentary processes and inquiries Strong understanding of the legislative and regulatory processes in the UK and familiarity with key global multilateral institutions. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, capable of maintaining strong relationships both internally and externally. Strategic thinker with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Desirable Experience or understanding of working with fast growth B2B technology companies Experience in and knowledge of online content regulation and legislation in the UK and around the world Experience in and knowledge of: UK resilience policy, defence and foreign policy and institutions.
