Enterprise Security Analyst at LogicGate

Evan Peterson has a diverse work experience in various industries. Evan started their career as a Disability Resource Associate-Intern at Access Living in 2014. Evan then worked as a Social Enterprise Intern at Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Chicago in 2015. Following that, Evan joined Misericordia Heart of Mercy as a Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional, where they served as a case manager for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. During their time at Misericordia, they facilitated communication between families, residents, and stakeholders and supervised direct care staff. In 2021, Evan joined Byline Bank as an Information Security Analyst, where they were part of the Access Governance team and responsible for reviewing user privileges and remediating discrepancies in user access capabilities. Currently, Evan is working at LogicGate as an Enterprise Security Analyst, focused on managing third-party risk by conducting vendor security reviews.

Evan Peterson attended Boylan Central Catholic High School from 2007 to 2011, where they completed their high school education. Evan then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Human Services, General at Loyola University Chicago from 2011 to 2015. Evan continued their education at the University of Illinois Springfield from 2019 to 2021, earning a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer and Information Systems Security/Information Assurance.

In addition to their formal education, Evan obtained two certifications. In March 2022, they completed the eJPT certification from eLearnSecurity. In June 2022, they also obtained the CompTIA Security+ ce Certification from CompTIA.
