Ashish Jha has over four years of professional experience in software engineering and data science. In 2022, they began working as a Senior Software Engineer at Devo. Prior to that, they worked at LogicHub from 2021 to 2021 as a Senior Software Engineer and Software Engineer. From 2020 to 2021, they worked at StoryMirror as a SDE. From 2019 to 2020, they worked at OYO as a Python Developer. In 2018, they worked at Cognizant as a Summer Intern, where they built an NLP utility to process and feed in documents as input to a BOT for specific business purposes, developed a robust REST API for the NLP utility, and deployed a custom website for the NLP utility in Azure. In 2018, they also worked at Science Canvas as a Data Science TA/RA, where they mentored students in a Data Science Bootcamp Programme and web-scrapped different websites to collect data for building a recommendation-based chatbot. In 2017, they completed a Data Science Internship at the Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow, where they implemented and analyzed various statistical techniques for decision making and data analytics, applied data analytics to solve Harvard Business Review case studies using R, and did a capstone project using the Washington bike sharing dataset.

Ashish Jha attained a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) degree in Civil Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (Indian School of Mines), Dhanbad between 2015 and 2019. Ashish also obtained a number of certifications from Coursera, including Improving Deep Neural Networks: Hyperparameter tuning, Regularization and Optimization (2018), Structuring Machine Learning Projects (2018), Machine Learning (2018), Regression Models (2017), Practical Machine Learning (2017), and The Data Scientist’s Toolbox (2017).
