Gerry Appeltants has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Gerry started their career as the Microsoft Competence Center Leader at Bureau van Dijk in 2002. Gerry then moved on to work as a Program Manager for Microsoft .net at Real Software Group in 2003. From 2005 to 2011, they worked at Ordina, first as Chief Architect & PAM Microsoft, and later as Director of Business Integration & Software Development. In 2012, they joined Fujitsu Belgium as the Head of Business & Application Services. After leaving Fujitsu in 2016, Gerry became the Managing Director Belux at Plat4mation until 2018. Gerry then worked at TriFinance from 2019 to 2022 as the Leader TriFinance | CroXcon. In 2022, they joined TriTechnology Belgium as the Leader TriTechnology until 2023. Currently, Gerry is the Head of Micro Entreprises and Strategist at Fujitsu, starting in 2023. Additionally, in 2021, they founded Logiscool Antwerp-Edegem, offering innovative education programs for children to become active creators of technology. Prior to their professional career, Gerry Appeltants received education in various fields of study, including business administration and computer science.

Gerry Appeltants obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from KU Leuven, where they studied Development from 1994 to 1998. In addition to their formal education, Gerry has also obtained various certifications, including ServiceNow Sales & Pre-sales Accreditations in different areas such as Customer Service Management, ESG (Environmental, Social & Governance), Field Service Management, HR Service Delivery, IT Asset Management, IT Business Management, and IT Service Management. These accreditations were obtained from ServiceNow in Tokyo between December 2020 and January 2023. Gerry also received micro certifications in Flow Designer and Integration Hub from ServiceNow in December 2020.
