Egemen Zeytinci

Egemen Zeytinci has a strong background in data science and machine learning. Egemen started their career as an Intern Data Scientist at Metglobal in September 2017. Egemen quickly progressed to the role of Data Scientist, where they worked on various projects until March 2021. During this time, they developed a CNN model to detect national ID cards, created a liveness detection algorithm using OpenCV, and built an OCR model to extract MRZ codes from ID cards. Additionally, they worked on backend development for an e-wallet project and contributed to the content project known as cosmos-lite.

In February 2022, Egemen joined smartIQ Teknoloji as a Senior Data Scientist and later became the Lead Data Scientist in April. In these roles, they played a pivotal role in the company's data science initiatives.

Currently, Egemen is working as a Machine Learning Engineer at Logiwa WMS, starting in November 2022. With their diverse experience and expertise, they are well-equipped to contribute to machine learning projects at Logiwa WMS.

Egemen Zeytinci obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Sakarya University, where they studied from 2012 to 2017. In addition to their degree, they have acquired several certifications. These include Advanced React and React Basics from Coursera, obtained in June 2023 and February 2023 respectively. Egemen also completed the Statistics with Python Specialization from Coursera in January 2021. Furthermore, Egemen Zeytinci holds a certification as a Neo4j Certified Professional from Neo4j, attained in November 2020. Lastly, they completed the IBM Data Science Specialization from Coursera in October 2020.
