Simay Akdemir

Simay Akdemir has a diverse work experience that includes roles in implementation consulting, communications, industrial engineering, building management, project management, manufacturing engineering, research study assistance, and new business development. Simay has worked with companies such as Logiwa WMS, IEEE, International Society of Automation (ISA), Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, ESTIEM, ITU Industrial Engineering Society, Röchling Automotive, Kosedag Mesh Wire Fence, NCERC at SIUE, and Ak Grup Tesisat. Simay'sroles range from being an implementation consultant at Logiwa WMS to a new business development position at Ak Grup Tesisat. Simay has also served as a communications chair at IEEE and as a building manager at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville.

Simay Akdemir obtained a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, where they studied from 2017 to 2022. Simay also pursued a degree in Industrial Engineering at Istanbul Technical University during the same time period. Additionally, in June 2020, Simay obtained a certification in Mobile Programming from Ecodation.
