Brian C.

Brian C. has a diverse work experience in the field of information security. Brian started their career at DigitalGlobe, Inc. in 2008 as a Sr. Systems Administrator and later transitioned to become the Lead Information Security Engineer, Analyst, and Incident Response specialist in 2011. Brian worked in this role until 2016.

In 2016, Brian joined LogRhythm as the Principal Security Research Engineer. In this role, they served as a SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) evangelist and applied intelligence into the LogRhythm platform to support real-world security use cases. Brian delivered content, analytics, and detection around threat actors' tactics, techniques, and procedures through daily knowledge base updates. Brian also developed and maintained SmartResponseTM Plugins to automate incident response and streamline workflow for SOC analysts.

Brian C. obtained their Bachelor's degree from The University of New Mexico between 1995 and 2006. Brian also holds additional certifications such as Certified Ethical Hacker from EC-Council, obtained in July 2012, and CISSP from (ISC)2, obtained in October 2011.
