Barbara Liepins

Barbara Liepins has extensive experience in biotechnology, currently serving in Product Development R&D at Lohmann & Rauscher since January 2020. Prior to this, Barbara held a Post Doc position at acib GmbH from December 2016 to December 2019, focusing on the cultivation and analysis of hydrogen producing biofilms. Educationally, Barbara obtained a PhD in Biotechnology from the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences, Vienna (BOKU) between 2012 and 2015, following a Diplom-Ingenieurin (Dipl.Ing.) in Biotechnology from Technische Universität Graz from 2008 to 2011, and a Bachelor of Science in Technische Chemie from Technische Universität Graz from 2005 to 2008. Additionally, Barbara participated in educational programs at Syracuse University and Universidad de Burgos.
