Ricardo Grizonic has a diverse range of work experience. Ricardo started their career at Laseeb in 2007, where they worked on simulating biological behaviors and communication of decentralized entities. Ricardo then interned at Museu da Electricidade, Fundação EDP, where they gained experience at an electricity museum. In 2009, they joined the Intelligent Systems Lab - Instituto Superior Técnico as an R&D specialist in human-robot interaction.

Grizonic went on to work at Plotwise, first as a software engineer, playing a key role in building the company's backend structure and executing pilot projects. Ricardo later became the lead software engineer and product owner, responsible for leading the development team, recruitment, and client communication. In 2015, they joined Shell Nederland Chemie B.V. as an automation engineer, where they gained experience in process automation, control, and optimization.

Ricardo'smost recent position is at Loka, where they started in 2019. Ricardo initially served as the Head of Engineering & Country Manager for Portugal before being promoted to the role of VP of Engineering & Country Manager Portugal. In this role, they hold responsibility for engineering and country management in Portugal.

Ricardo Grizonic completed their education in a chronological order. Ricardo pursued their Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico, starting in 2006 and finishing in 2009. Following that, they attended Delft University of Technology from 2010 to 2013, where they obtained their Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on the Electrical Power Engineering Track.

In addition to their formal education, Ricardo Grizonic has also attained various certifications. In January 2019, they completed the "Programming with Google Go Specialization" and "Functions, Methods, and Interfaces in Go" courses from Coursera. Ricardo further enhanced their skills in Go programming by obtaining the "Getting Started with Go" certificate from Coursera in December 2018. Furthermore, they completed the "Introduction to Data Science in Python" course on Coursera in December 2018. Later, in July 2020, they acquired a "Certificate in Management Essentials" from Harvard Business School Online.
