Srdjan Jovanovic

Srdjan Jovanovic has a strong background in machine learning and software engineering. Srdjan is currently working as a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at Loka since January 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Serbian AI Society as an Ecosystem Manager from September 2020 to March 2022.

Srdjan also has experience as a Machine Learning Engineer at Synechron from June 2021 to January 2022. In this role, they worked on a system for predicting customer conversion and building a framework for NLP tasks using HuggingFace models and transformer architecture.

Before that, Srdjan worked at Saga NFG as a Machine Learning Programmer from October 2018 to June 2021. Srdjan worked on various projects involving data analysis, prototype testing, implementing prediction models, and solving classification and segmentation problems. Srdjan also worked as a Junior Software Engineer at Saga NFG from May 2018 to September 2018, where they worked on a Chat Bot system.

Additionally, Srdjan has interned at High Tech Engineering Center, where they gained experience in software engineering and embedded systems. Srdjan worked as a Software Engineering Intern in the Embedded team from April 2017 to September 2017, where they developed a graphical environment for communication between computers and tested hardware. Srdjan also had an internship as an Embedded Engineer from June 2016 to August 2016, where they worked on writing drivers for Bluetooth modules and testing sensors using various communication protocols.

Srdjan started their career as a Student Associate at the University of Belgrade, School of Electrical Engineering, where they provided assistance to students in laboratory exercises and worked on subjects related to computer architecture, programming, and electrical engineering.

Srdjan Jovanovic completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of Belgrade, School of Electrical Engineering. Srdjan attended this program from 2013 to 2017. Srdjan then pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Signal Processing at the same university from 2017 to 2018.
