Kelsey Megard

Kelsey Megard is the Public Relations Manager at Lola Red. Kelsey has over five years of experience in public relations and communications, and has spent the last four years as the Public Relations & Communications Manager at Valleyfair Family Amusement Park.

Kelsey is responsible for leading Valleyfair's public relations department and generating positive publicity through news media, community relations, social media, online advertising, and brand storytelling. Kelsey also acts on behalf of Valleyfair as the official spokesperson. Kelsey has developed an annual press release and media pitch plan based on an overall marketing plan. Kelsey has also handled all media communications relating to crisis situations.

In addition, Kelsey has developed creative and engaging social media strategies for all social media channels including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, and LinkedIn. Kelsey has also overseen, planned, created and delivered content across different platforms.

Finally, Kelsey is responsible for integrated campaign management, which typically includes content creation, videography, analytical reporting, website management, crisis communication, photography, blogging, and SEO.

Kelsey Megard has a bachelor's degree in journalism from South Dakota State University.
