Joseph Tranquillo

Associate Provost for Transformative Teaching & Learning at Bucknell University

Joseph Tranquillo is a Professor of Biomedical Engineering and an Affiliate in Neuroscience at Bucknell University since 2005. In addition, Joseph serves on the academic faculty for the Magister en Diseno Avanzado program at Pontifica Universidad Catolica de Chile, teaching one class annually and advising academic programs since January 2014. Joseph's experience includes a role as a Visiting Scholar at Stanford University from August 2012 to June 2013, where involvement in the NSF Engineering Pathways to Innovation in the Stanford Technology Ventures Program took place. Joseph holds a Post-Doctoral degree in Biomedical Engineering from Duke University (2004-2005), a PhD in Biomedical Engineering from Duke University (1998-2004), and a BS in Biomedical and Electrical Engineering from Trinity College-Hartford (1993-1997).
