Jess McGregor

Jess McGregor currently serves as the President of the Association of Directors of Adult Social Services (ADASS) since April 2024, having previously held the position of Vice President. In addition, Jess has been the Executive Director of Adults & Health and Director of Adult Social Care at the London Borough of Camden since April 2020. Prior experience includes roles as Director of Strategy & Commissioning and Service Director for Adult Social Care at Islington Council from March 2017 to April 2020, as well as Chair of the Local Advisory Board at The Octagon Pupil Referral Unit and Chair of Governors at Parkview Secondary School. Jess also contributed to Islington Council and Islington Clinical Commissioning Group as Assistant Director of Strategic Commissioning and worked in commissioning and contracts management in various health-related roles across multiple organizations, including Southwark PCT and Southwark Council. Jess holds a degree from The University of Edinburgh, completed in 2001.
