Tom Simon

Tom Simon is a seasoned political figure and Liberal Democrat, currently serving as a Councillor for Belsize in the London Borough of Camden since May 2018, after previously holding the position from 2009 to 2014. An active member of the Camden Liberal Democrats since 2007, Tom chaired the Camden branch from 2015 to 2017. With a diverse professional background, Tom has worked as a freelance writer specializing in politics, education, and law, and held roles with various educational institutions including the European College of Business and Management as a visiting lecturer. Tom has also served as a director at The Boxing Academy, contributing to alternative education for at-risk youth, and has held governance positions in several schools. Tom's academic credentials include a Bar Vocational Course and a Master’s degree in Japanese Studies, complemented by a Bachelor's degree in History.
