Alex Sewell

Alex Sewell has extensive experience in housing and planning, currently serving as the Interim Strategic Lead for Housing and Planning at London Councils since June 2016, alongside roles as Special Projects Lead and Principal Policy and Projects Officer. Prior to this, Alex was a Researcher focusing on housing and the economy at the Greater London Authority from September 2010 to May 2016 and worked as a Senior Account Executive at Newington Communications from January 2008 to September 2010. Alex holds a Graduate Diploma in Economics, Econometrics, and Quantitative Economics and a Certificate of Higher Education in Economics from Birkbeck, University of London, as well as a BA in Politics and International Relations from the University of Reading.
