Gareth L. currently serves as the Interim Deputy Chief HR Officer at London Fire Brigade since July 2023. Prior to this role, Gareth held various positions at the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) from November 2020 to July 2023, including Deputy Director for Capability Based Pay and HR Director for Service Excellence Group. Gareth's earlier career includes working in employee policy and relations at the UK Home Office and DWP. Educational qualifications include a post-graduate diploma in HR obtained from CIPD between 2011 and 2013.
