Emilie Rosenlund Soysal is a Research Fellow at the London Mathematical Laboratory since January 2024. Previously, Emilie served as a Doctoral Researcher in Energy Finance at the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research from September 2017 to December 2023, where research focused on capital market failures and their impact on climate policy effectiveness, including the development of a default probability model for wind power plants. Additional experience includes organizing a session on market failures and sustainable development at the University of Potsdam in August 2021, research on energy policy at the Technical University of Denmark, and a role as a Responsible Investment Consultant at Ethix SRI Advisors. Emilie holds a PhD in Economics from Technische Universität Berlin and a Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering and Management from Lund University.
