Max Werner

Max Werner is a Senior Lecturer in Natural Hazards and Risks at the University of Bristol, where employment has been sustained since October 2013. Additionally, Max serves as an External Fellow at the London Mathematical Laboratory and as a Senior Consultant at Zonlab, roles initiated in August 2015 and June 2014, respectively. Prior academic engagements include a Harry H. Hess Postdoctoral Fellowship at Princeton University from October 2010 to June 2014 and a Postdoctoral Researcher position at ETH Zurich from January 2008 to September 2010. Max holds a Ph.D. in Geophysics and Seismology from UCLA, earned between 2003 and 2007, and a Master’s Degree in Physics from Imperial College London.
