Joe Mealing

Joe Mealing has a diverse work experience, starting with their current role as Head of Regulatory Strategy at the London Metal Exchange in September 2022. Previously, they worked as a Senior Regulatory Specialist at the same company from January to September 2022. Before that, Joe was the Co-Founder of Mobility Exchange from July 2020 onwards. In 2019, they founded and served as the CEO of WAEV. Prior to that, Joe held various roles at Mealings, including Company Director from April 2018 onwards, Managing Director from February 2019 to January 2022, and Compliance Consultant from March 2017 to April 2018. Joe also worked as a Manager of Regulatory Affairs at the World Federation of Exchanges from July 2016 to March 2017. Before that, Joe worked at the Financial Conduct Authority as a Senior Associate from October 2015 to July 2016, and as an Associate from April 2014 to October 2015. Joe's career started as a Parliamentary Advisor to Sharon Bowles MEP at the European Parliament from October 2011 to April 2014. Prior to that, they served as a UK Advisor to Sharon Bowles MEP from July 2010 to October 2011.

Joe Mealing attended St Clement Danes School from 1996 to 2003. Joe then went on to study Modern History at the University of Westminster from 2003 to 2006, earning a BA (Hons) degree.
