Mario Quonils

Mario Quonils has a strong background in IT infrastructure and technology leadership. Mario currently serves as the Chief Technology Officer at the London Metal Exchange, where they have been since 2018. Prior to this, Mario held various roles at Deutsche Börse, including Head of IT Infrastructure and Head of Department Network and Operational Security. From 2012 to 2015, they worked as the Director of EMEA IT Infrastructure at Merck, where they were responsible for operations and delivery of all IT assets in the EMEA region. Mario also has experience at MSD as a Telecom Engineer and at Bayer in central engineering.

Mario Quonils completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Chemical Engineering from AP Hogeschool Antwerpen, where they studied from 1994 to 1997. Following this, Mario pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Chemical Engineering at HTS Breda from 1997 to 1998.
