Liz Routhorn

Liz Routhorn is a seasoned professional in widening participation and outreach with extensive experience in higher education, currently serving as Head of Widening Participation and Outreach at London Metropolitan University since November 2009. Liz has successfully managed national initiatives, developed outreach programs for care-experienced students, and significantly increased participation in summer school programs. Additionally, Liz holds a role as a musician and treasurer at Gamelan Lila Cita and has served as Chair of the Care Experienced and Estranged Students Forum at AccessHE. With a bachelor's degree in Music from City, University of London and pursuing a master's degree in Education: Inclusive Practice at The Open University, Liz combines a robust educational background with a commitment to fostering inclusivity in education.
