Ailsa Buck

Ailsa Buck has a diverse work experience in various industries. Ailsa currently works at London & Partners as the Interim Head of Major Events and City Experience. Prior to that, they held the position of Senior Project Manager - Major Events & City Experience at the same company. Before joining London & Partners, Ailsa worked at London Marathon Events as the Venue Operations: Hospitality Lead and later as an Account Manager. Ailsa also has experience working at SweetSpot Group Ltd as an Event Manager, Technical Manager, and Race Administration Manager. Ailsa has retail management experience from their time at Sweaty Betty as a Retail Manager and Assistant Retail Manager. Ailsa has also worked in sales roles at HelloFresh as a Sales Team Leader and Sales Executive. Ailsa started their career at GlaxoSmithKline, where they held roles in Business Intelligence and Development and New Product Research.

Ailsa Buck completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Sport and Exercise Science at the University of Bath from 2009 to 2013. Prior to that, they attended St Helen and St Katherine from 2002 to 2009, where they completed their A Levels in Biology, Psychology, Sport and Physical Education, and Physics.

In addition to their formal education, Ailsa Buck has obtained multiple certifications. These include Crowd Modelling, Management & Movement from the Emergency Planning College (The EPC) in January 2020, Introduction to Crowd Safety Management from the Emergency Planning College (The EPC) in December 2019, Managing Safely from THE INSTITUTION OF OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH in December 2019, AutoCAD 101 Yellow belt from Academy Class in November 2016, PRINCE2® Foundation CPD from AXELOS Global Best Practice in February 2021, and PRINCE2® Practitioner CPD from AXELOS Global Best Practice in March 2021.
