Hina Jawaid-Kalyal

Hina Jawaid-Kalyal, PhD, is a research fellow and assistant professor at Huron University since August 2022, specializing in organizational behavior and topics related to policing, equity, diversity, and inclusion. Hina currently serves as a planning and research analyst and policy analyst for the London Police Service while also lecturing and supervising research in the Local Government Program at Western University. Additional teaching roles include positions at King's University College and Lawrence Kinlin School of Business, focusing on various aspects of management and human resources. Hina's extensive academic background includes a PhD in Sociology from Western University and a PhD in Business Administration from the National University of Sciences and Technology, complemented by practical experience in enhancing organizational effectiveness through research support for Canadian police agencies.
