Soumaya Elliott

Soumaya Elliott currently holds the position of Deputy HoD of Development and teacher at London Screen Academy since October 2022, while also serving as an external moderator for Creative Media at University of the Arts London since April 2022. Prior experience includes a role as a Media lecturer and trainee Media teacher at Activate Learning from April 2018 to October 2022, complemented by self-employment as a dance teacher from September 2016 to October 2022. Soumaya has extensive experience in dance education, having taught yoga, meditation, and acrobatic arts at Allenova School of Dance from August 2015 to October 2022. Soumaya’s educational background includes a PGCE from Oxford Brookes University, a 200-hour yoga teacher training from Shiva Shakti School, and various diplomas in dance instruction from Judith Hockaday School of Dance and Drama and The Royal Academy of Dance. A Bachelor of Arts in Dance and Jazz Theatre Dance was obtained from London Studio Centre.
