Mojisola Kareem

Mojisola Kareem is an award-winning director and the founder of Utopia Theatre, serving as CEO and Artistic Director since June 2012. Kareem has developed productions in Yorkshire, London, and internationally, focusing on elevating Black writers, creatives, and performers. Notable roles include Artistic Director for "The Shepherd's Chameleon," with a vision centered on surrealist imagery, and Guest Director positions at London South Bank University and London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art. Kareem's past experience includes Staff Director at the National Theatre and Creative Director for community-involved projects. With a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre Performance from York St John University and a background in English and Literary Studies, as well as a Post Graduate Diploma in Law, Mojisola Kareem combines artistic leadership with a strong educational foundation.
