Surani Amerasinghe

Surani Amerasinghe currently holds the position of Director, Country People Partnering at LSEG (London Stock Exchange Group) since September 2024. Prior experience includes serving as Director of Human Resources for India & Sri Lanka at Ansell from November 2021 to September 2024, and as Head of Human Resources at Lion Brewery (Ceylon) PLC between January 2016 and October 2021. Surani has also held notable roles at Hayleys Group, BAT, and British American Tobacco, where responsibilities included leading HR strategies and development. Surani began a career at Standard Chartered Bank as Director of Human Resources, Merchant Solutions. Academic qualifications include an MBA from American City University and a diploma in Hotel, Motel, and Restaurant Management from Hotelconsult Cesar Ritz in Switzerland.
