Alexander Strassburger

Alexander Strassburger has held various roles in the real estate industry throughout their career. Alexander is currently a Managing Director at Lone Star Funds, a position they have held since 2022. Prior to this, Alexander served as the Managing Director and Head of DACH & Benelux at EQT Partners from 2019 to 2022. In this role, they were responsible for sourcing and executing value add real estate transactions in Europe. Before joining EQT, Alexander held the position of Managing Director at AEW from 2015 to 2019. Alexander also served as the Country Head of German Real Estate at The Carlyle Group from 2003 to 2014. Alexander began their career as an Analyst at Merrill Lynch from 2001 to 2003.

Alexander Strassburger attended Lycee Franco-Allemand de Buc, France from 1985 to 1995, where they obtained an Abitur / Baccalaureat with Honors (Mention Bien) in High School. Alexander later pursued a degree in Finance at ESCP Business School from 1997 to 2001, specializing in Business Administration and Management, General.
