Chidi Ihekere

Chidi Ihekere has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Chidi currently serves as the Corporate Service Director at Lonestar Forklift, Inc., where they have successfully negotiated with original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) to secure payment for unsubmitted warranty claims. Chidi has also implemented strategies to reduce payroll expenses by reallocating service technician jobs. Prior to their current role, Chidi worked as a Senior Sales Executive at Briggs Equipment, where they significantly expanded their assigned territory and consistently achieved top sales performance. Chidi was also responsible for bidding on and negotiating sales contracts for heavy machinery.

Chidi's career began at Stewart & Stevenson as a Senior Sales Executive and later as a Service Advisor Supervisor. Chidi was responsible for selling various product lines, providing customer account maintenance, and supervising technicians for service call assignments.

In 2008, Chidi ventured into entrepreneurship and owned and operated BFS Youth Sports Training, specializing in specialty speed and agility training for young athletes in the Houston, Texas area.

Prior to that, they worked at Mustang Cat as a Dispatch Supervisor, overseeing technicians and managing profit and loss (P&L) for call assignments and dispatch. Chidi also implemented service and sales plans for new customers in the generator industry.

Chidi began their career at FedEx as an Operations Supervisor, where they supervised a team of direct reports and managed package handling and delivery schedules. Chidi played a key role in training employees on best practices.

Chidi Ihekere completed their education at Texas State University from 1987 to 1992, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Broadcast Journalism. Additionally, in December 2017, Chidi obtained certification as a Forklift Instruction Certified, although the institution through which this certification was obtained is not provided.
