Bella Elisa Fuentes

Bella Elisa Fuentes is a dedicated educator with extensive experience in teaching English Language Arts at various grade levels. Currently serving as a 7th Grade English Teacher at Long Beach Unified School District since August 2022, Bella previously taught 8th grade English at Uplift Education from July 2019 to June 2022. Additionally, Bella has provided academic advising as an ETS College Advisor Mentor at California State University-Long Beach and served as a Senior Lead Organizer with Students For Education Reform. Bella contributed to research on colorism's effects on Latinas in the K-12 setting during time as an AAP Educators For Tomorrow Scholar at UCLA. Bella holds a Master of Science in Secondary Education and Teaching from Johns Hopkins University, attained after completing a bachelor's degree at UCLA.
