Kim Irons has extensive experience in education, currently serving as the Assistant Director of Pathway Design & Development at Long Beach Unified School District, where responsibilities include overseeing programs for college and career readiness. Previously, Kim held various roles at Centinela Valley Union High School District, including K12 Pathway Coordinator and Linked Learning Pathway Specialist, focusing on career pathways and dual enrollment initiatives. As Principal and Executive Director at New Millennium Secondary School, Kim led accreditation and charter renewal processes while enhancing academic opportunities. Additional experience includes teaching social studies at multiple high schools and serving as a lecturer at Loyola Marymount University. Kim holds a Master of Education from UCLA and a certificate in Charter and Small School Management from Loyola Marymount University.
