Linda Ramos

Linda Ramos currently serves as a College and Career Advisor at Long Beach Unified School District since October 2023. Previously, Linda worked as the Higher Education Program Manager at John Burton Advocates for Youth from October 2021 to September 2023, where the focus was on enhancing services for youth in foster care. Linda's experience includes roles such as LINC Program Facilitator at Cerritos College, where responsibilities involved supporting educational efforts for foster youth, and Director of the Education Program at United Friends of the Children, which included building capacity for programs serving academic needs. Additionally, Linda held the position of Executive Director at El Centro de Accion Social, fostering educational programs for the Spanish-speaking community, and worked as a teacher at Fremont Union High School District prior to pursuing an advanced education. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Education from CSU Long Beach, a Master’s from UC Santa Cruz, and a Bachelor’s degree from Stanford University.
