Meagan Kinsey

Meagan Kinsey currently serves as Senior Associate General Counsel for the Long Beach Unified School District since July 2023. Prior positions include Attorney at Dannis Woliver Kelley from March 2017 to June 2023 and Associate at Atkinson, Andelson, Loya, Ruud & Romo from May 2014 to March 2017, focusing on special education law. Previous experience also includes serving as a Legal Extern for Norwalk-La Mirada Unified School District, where responsibilities involved investigating complaints and preparing legal documents related to employment and special education. Meagan Kinsey began a career in education as a Lead Teacher and Grade Level Chair at KIPP Houston and participated in the Teach For America program from June 2010 to May 2012. Meagan Kinsey holds a Doctor of Law (JD) from the University of California, Los Angeles, School of Law (2012-2015) and a Bachelor of Arts in English and History from the University of Notre Dame (2006-2010).
